Mentally add the first two numbers. (5 + 8 = 13).

Add the other number to this sum. (13 + 7 = 20).

Solutions from the Previous Issue:

Calculate:

1.        (27 + 45) + 19 =

Solution:

(27 + 45) + 19 = 72 + 19 = 91

2.        (91 – 67) + 28 =

Solution:

(91 – 67) + 28 = 24 + 28 = 52

Proposed Exercises:

Calculate the followings divisions:

1.        24 4 3 =

2.        42 7 6 =

3.        64 8 2 =
